In rare cases extra shipping charges may apply to domestic orders, if the US Postal Service is used, or requested. Shipping to the continental U.S. is typically done via UPS, and any where else via USPS. IE, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, etc. Anyplace where you have a standard Zip Code for USPS delivery, we can ship domestically. APO/FPO may have some size restrictions. Check to see what the maximum width + girth is for your location. If it’s maximum size is between 96-108 inches, thats our standard package. If it’s under 79 inches, we have to use a modified package that is explained below, as if it’s for certain international destinations.
Extra shipping charges will apply to all international orders based on the location the item will be shipped to. After the purchase has been made on our website, a quote with the additional shipping charges will be submitted. If the quote is accepted and payment is made, the item will ship within the next 48 hours. If you refuse to pay the additional shipping charges, please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org A full refund will be issued for the rejected product.
International orders are typically shipped via the United States Postal Service’s Global Priority Mail, Global Express Mail is available as well and will be quoted as well (EMS). Items shipped with this service are insured and on average take approximately 5-10 business days, or 3 – 5 business days for EMS, to arrive after they are transferred to the Postal Service.
Limited Package Sizes for Certain International Deliveries:
Because of our Wing Core, our products ship in fairly large boxes. For domestic deliveries, and most countries in the western hemisphere this is not a problem. However some European and Far Eastern countries have a size limit that in order for us to meet we have to provide a modified product that requires a couple extra steps for assembly. Mainly, the Wing Core will be two pieces instead of one, and will need to be assembled along the center line. The Sky Cutter handle will also need to be assembled slightly differently. The end result is the same great product with the same easy to fly characteristics.
International Policies and Procedures:
All international orders will be honored that are currently accepted by our merchant account (PayPal). If your country is not listed during checkout, we can not accept payment from that particular country as our merchant account does not processes these transactions.
The United States Post Office requires that claims for undelivered or lost products be investigated no sooner than 30 days from the ship date. FlyingThingZ, Inc. will work with the postal service to obtain your product. In the even that the product is not found a new one will be shipped our at our expense as the ongoing claim for the lost product is processed.
